NEW ORLEANS NEWS: Keli Fulton
WDSU

Keli Fulton

Keli D'Juan Fulton joined the WDSU sports team in January 2007, making Louisiana the fifth state she's lived in since graduating from Southern California's Whitter College in 2001.

The Fort Worth native has an older brother, Kevin Duane, and a younger sister, Kia Dawn. And in case you hadn't noticed, her parents, Willie and Veronica, gave all of their children the initials KDF.

Keli is an avid sports fan, with basketball being her favorite and football a close second. In fact, she says in basketball, she'd be the perfect swingman, and in football, she'd be a receiver (although she played outside linebacker in an all-female flag football game).

Keli's excited to be in the Cresent City, not only because of the chance to cover two major professional franchises, but because she's excited to soak up the city's rich cultural history.

Send her an e-mail at kfulton@hearst.com.
