Light, Crowder Fined By NFL For Fight

POSTED: 11:15 am CST November 26, 2008

(Sports Network) - Offensive tackle Matt Light of the New England Patriots and linebacker Channing Crowder of the Miami Dolphins have been fined $15,000 apiece by the NFL for what the league called "a verbal and physical altercation" in last Sunday's 48-28 win by New England.

Neither will be suspended as a result of their actions.

Light threw punches at Crowder several times after the Miami player shoved him on a New England field goal late in the game.
