It could be early next year before FEMA trailers make it out to people affected by hurricanes Gustav and Ike, the agency said Saturday.

According to FEMA, only about 54 trailers out of 350 have been placed.

FEMA said problems with infrastructure and hookups have slowed the process.

All families are expected to receive trailers by January or February.
