The shattered street light on Providence Street in River Ridge made it very dark about 5 a.m on March 1. But police said a neighbor told them he saw something strange."He saw one black male here with a dreadlock-style haircut." Detective Jeff Rodrigue said. "We do believe the victim was abducted from this lot here on Providence. We found his cell phone, his belt, his wallet with his ID."Rodrigue said the witness saw "an SUV, a green or blue SUV speed up on Providence down Jeff Highway, stopped and backed up in the lot."Detectives listened in as Terrance Pinkley's suspected kidnappers demanded drugs or money as ransom for his safe return. But, a short while later, the suspects called back."The phone call said you called the police, don't worry about it, your friend's dead," Rodrigue said. The caller did explain to police where they would find the victim's body, just a few blocks away.Rodrigue said the caller told the neighbor, "If you want to find your friend's body, you'll find him next to the graveyard by the railroad tracks."Terrance Pinkley was found shot several times in the alleyway next to an abandoned house on Milan Street.Detectives have identified, but have not located - one, of possibly 3 suspects: Lloyd Munson, 21, who has a history of arrests for violent crimes and drugs.
